Drawings and specifications are required in order to tender the construction work to contractors, and to obtain the necessary building permits. With the necessary building enclosure, architectural, and structural skills in house, our construction document package is integrated and comprehensive.
It has been our experience that the quality and completeness of the construction documents bear directly on the cost and quality of the construction work. Changes initiated after tender are always more expensive than including them in initial construction documents. Our approach is to provide a more completely detailed tender package than is typical in the industry, in order to better ensure the cost effective implementation of the rehabilitation program. So, while costs for our construction document preparation work is often more expensive than other consultants, the completeness of our document package results in lower overall project costs due to fewer changes and additions during construction.
“…we would like you to know how pleased we have been with the outstanding service that we have received from RDH Building Engineering Ltd. Not only has the structural integrity of the buildings been restored, but you worked with us to ensure that the appearance of the exterior of the buildings was maintained as far as possible.”
