Although RDH has grown from a small engineering practice to a multidisciplinary professional firm providing a wide range of related services, at the core of all of our business areas is a comprehensive understanding of building science and how internal and external environments impact the behavior of the enclosure of buildings.

RDH is unique in the consulting industry in that research and guideline development work is part of our core business. We are industry leaders in this service area. Our guideline documents have become the industry standard for many aspects of residential construction in BC. 

In addition, we are actively involved in education and training, with staff involved in trades training and lecturing at colleges and universities in the Pacific Northwest.  We also offer educational seminars for our clients.
