- The Eliot consists of a post-tensioned concrete tower with Benson Industries’ unitized curtain wall system that includes glazing, stone, and metal panels. The building also includes at-grade plazas and decks over occupied space. Balconies are waterproofed with a urethane coating. The main roof is an inverted roof assembly with a hot rubberized asphalt membrane.
- In 2004, RDH was retained by AMAA to provide consulting services related to the design and field review of the building enclosure.
- In 2006, RDH was retained by the general contractor and provided a multi-system maintenance manual for The Eliot.
- In 2007, RDH provided a one-year building enclosure warranty review to the Homeowners Association.
- The Homeowners Association retained RDH to expand the maintenance manual to include a reserve study in 2008. RDH has provided subsequent annual updates to these documents.
