GVRD (now Metro Vancouver)
2007
- Size: 15 buildings
- Use/Occupancy: Purpose-built structures including wastewater treatment plants, pump stations, and rechlorination stations
- High-security facilities that operate 24-hours and contain highly specialized process equipment.
- Some of the buildings contain highly toxic materials that impact the longevity of the structures and the mechanical systems.
- The facility manager was provided with a series of reports on the condition of each of the buildings that recognize the unique application of the assets and their legacy to the environmental sustainability of waste water systems in the Lower Mainland.
- Enabled the facility manager to establish the appropriate maintenance and renewals plans for each class of assets.
- Assisted the client with some capital renewal projects to ensure that the facilities continue to operate with minimal disruption.
