- In addition to designing the rehabilitation of all the building enclosure assemblies of this townhouse complex, RDH redesigned the elevational treatment of the building to remove a number of problematic features and to update its appearance.
- New roof overhangs were added and a number of balconies were enclosed. The original stucco cladding was replaced with a combination of new rainscreen stucco and cedar siding. A new fire protection sprinkler system was installed permitting the removal of a wood-framed fire escape stair.
- Prior to proceeding with the rehabilitation project, RDH investigated the feasibility of redeveloping the site. Schematic designs and associated budgets were prepared for a number of alternative scenarios.
