Ed is a structural engineer with expertise in primary building and secondary component structural design. In addition to his structural background, Ed has over 10 years of experience with building envelope assessment, design and rehabilitation. He serves as the structural lead at the RDH Vancouver office.
Ed’s experience includes the structural design of high and low-rise commercial, institutional, and residential building projects. He has participated in numerous building evaluation assignments ranging from due-diligence assessment reports to review and repair of foundation settlement concerns to building envelope investigations and repairs. Ed has extensive practical experience with most structural systems including reinforced concrete, structural steel, light gauge steel, masonry, and timber construction.
